Meet the OSSIE Team!

Realtime Cyberspace Way

The best way to contact us with technical questions is via IRC. We have an IRC channel named #ossie at irc.freenode.net .
See ya'll there!

Chatzilla is a good irc client for windows people to start with. The other windows IRC clients eventually require registration. Chatzilla is a good way to find out how effectively we support OSSIE over IRC. Most Linux distributions supply one or more IRC clients such as X-Chat, Gaim, or Kopete.

E-Mail

There is a listserv for OSSIE questions and discussion. To subscribe to the list send an email to listserv@… with the following in the body of the email. The subject line doesn't matter.

If you are only interested in OSSIE related announcements, sign up for the OSSIE list. If you are already signed up for ossie-discuss, you will also receive email sent to the announce list. To subscribe to the list send an email to listserv@… with the following in the body of the email. The subject line doesn't matter.

Finally, if you are interested in keeping track of ticket changes, without checking the timeline all the time, subscribe to ossie-tickets. This list is only for automatically generated ticket emails from the trac system. All comments should be directed to the ticket via the website or the ossie-discuss list. You should have your email client filter emails to this list in to a separate folder. To subscribe to the list send an email to listserv@… with the following in the body of the email. The subject line doesn't matter.
