Current Release

The latest stable release of OSSIE is 0.8.2. The release is distributed in the following forms and a User and Installation Guide is available:

• Tarball
• Ubuntu 10.04 VM Ware Image
• Ubuntu 10.04 Live DVD

Source Code

Use the User and Installation Guide for installing OSSIE 0.8.2 from tarballs. If you want to grab the code from our subversion repository, please use svn user "anon" and password "ossiesdr"

VM Ware Image

The VM Ware image is an Ubuntu 10.04 image and comes pre-packaged with all OSSIE dependencies, USRP support and the 0.8.2 release. The VM Ware image requires use of the  VM Ware Player. The OSSIE VM Ware Image can be downloaded here:

Live DVD

The Live DVD is an Ubuntu 10.04 image and comes pre-packaged with all OSSIE dependencies, USRP support and the 0.8.2 release. The Live DVD now includes:

• The Liquid DSP library of PHY layer functions for SDR
• FlexFrame? components and waveforms that use the Liquid library
• GNU Radio 3.3.0
• The OSSIE-GNU Radio Generic Component, which allows use of GNU Radio blocks and flowgraphs within OSSIE waveforms
